Working Supervisor, Baskets

Position Summary:

The Working Supervisor in Baskets will supervise employees, insure that adequate training is provided for all line staff and document employees’ activities and performance while maintaining the confidentially of employees and Company records.  This position is accountable for the accuracy of the work being performed and for the inventories of all edible and non-edible components associated with the gift being produced.  The Working Supervisor is also responsible for accurate and timely record keeping, production paperwork, fruit usage, reject paperwork and timekeeping.  Additional job duties will be discussed at the time of the interview. *This position may required to work Days or Swing depending on the business need

This is an hourly paid position. Relocation assistance is not provided for this position. This position is located in Medford, Oregon.

Position Requirements:

  • Good intermediate math skills are required.
  • Production experience is preferred.
  • An excellent attendance record is required.
  • PC skills, WMS and SAP experience are a plus.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Must be able to promote a team effort to achieve common goals, as well as give and receive constructive feedback.
  • Understand established safety/quality standards and communicate them.
  • Problem-solving and decision making skills are necessary.
  • Must be a reliable self-starter, willing and able to learn new responsibilities and work independently.
  • Must be able to withstand a production environment with exposure to noise, dust and varying temperatures.  Physical requirements include standing for long periods of time, walking, bending, climbing stairs, reaching, twisting and lifting up to 20 pounds.
  • Must be flexible with regard to schedule and job assignments as days, hours and support tasks may vary depending on production needs. Weekends and overtime may be required.

Skills Screening Requirements:

  • Math

It is the responsibility of the applicant to complete their skills screening at the Harry & David Employment Center.  Screenings may be taken Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Your resume will not be considered until required skills screening has been completed.
