VP, Group Brand Copy Director
Position Summary:
The VP, Group Brand Copy Director will strengthen and manage the development of the brand voice through the creation of compelling copy. This position will partner with key marketing partners to support multichannel marketing and brand strategies needed to drive sales. The VP, Group Brand Copy Director will also be instrumental in the creation of corporate decks and presentations used in the Business-To-Business marketing division This position is located in Medford, Oregon.
Essential Functions:
- Create clear and effective copy that demonstrates the brand voice to drive sales and profitability of the business.
- Create corporate decks and presentations that communicate the brand voice.
- Manage products through multiple rounds of approvals and edits to produce deliverables on-time.
- Collaborate with Direct Marketing, Public Relations, Brand Marketing and other key stakeholders to develop and manage a brand strategy and approach that meets organizational and communications objectives.
- Create on-brand, on-strategy, compelling creative work.
- Provide forward-thinking and creative leadership to guide content and online tool utilization that will attract usage and lead to measurable engagement, comprehension, and distribution.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, English, Journalism or related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of five years of experience in a copywriter position.
- Ability to review strategies and develop concepts and copy that address marketing objectives in a creative manner and effectively targets audience.
- Solid writing experience in collateral, online, and direct mail is desired.
- Ability to multitask, work efficiently and develop new skills.
