Team Leader, Specialty Pack

Position Summary:

The Specialty Pack Team Leader will supervise a crew of up to 15 employees.  While leading by example, the Team Leader will ensure that adequate training is provided for all line staff.  This position is responsible for the quality and accuracy of the work performed by the crew, as well as accurate and timely record keeping including production paperwork, fruit usage, reject paperwork and inventories of all edible and non-edible components associated with gifts being produced.  The Team Leader will also document employee activities and performance while maintaining confidentiality of employee and Company records.  Additional job duties will be discussed at the time of the interview.  This is an hourly paid position. Relocation assistance is not provided for this position. This position is located in Medford, Oregon.

Position Requirements:

  • Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are required to interact effectively with different authority levels and personnel.
  • Must be able to promote a team effort to achieve common goals, as well as give constructive feedback.
  • Good problem solving and decision making skills are essential.
  • Must be a reliable self-starter, willing and able to learn new responsibilities and work independently.
  • Proven record of excellent attendance is required.
  • Good intermediate math skills are required.
  • Must have understanding of established safety/quality standards and the ability to communicate them.
  • Must be able to withstand a production environment with exposure to food allergens, dust and varying temperatures.  Physical requirements include standing for long periods of time, walking, bending, climbing stairs, reaching, twisting and lifting up to 20 pounds.
  • Must be flexible as scheduled hours may vary to fit production requirements.  Weekends and overtime may be required.

Skills Screening Requirements:
