Supervisor, Bakery Manufacturing

Position Summary:

The Supervisor in Bakery Manufacturing is responsible for successfully directing and overseeing Team Leaders, Crew Leaders and employees to achieve production goals on time while maintaining department quality, safety and efficiency standards. The Supervisor in Bakery Packaging will assure accuracy in production procedures and quality standards and with the required documentation. Other responsibilities include abiding by legal and corporate standards regarding Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), labels and timekeeping. This is an hourly paid position. Relocation assistance is not provided for this position. This position is located in Medford, Oregon.

Position Requirements:

• Excellent Math skills are required for accurate reporting.
• Proven ability and desire to work in a team environment is essential in order to assure the efficient operation of the department.
• Systems Application in Data Processing (SAP), Automated Data Processing (ADP) and Microsoft Outlook literate is a plus.
• Must have food production experience.
• Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills are required to coach, counsel and document personnel issues.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds. Other physical requirements include bending, lifting, twisting, walking, repetitive wrist movements and standing for full shifts. Must be able to withstand strong food orders, varied temperatures, dust and noise.
• Must be flexible as scheduled days, hours, and duties may vary to fit production requirements. Weekends and overtime may be required.
• This is a safety sensitive position, subject to initial and follow-up drug testing.
