Senior Store Sales Manager, Country Village

Position Summary:

The Senior Store Sales Manager, Country Village is responsible for driving the sales of the Country Village Harry & David Store.  This position will be responsible for the product mix and visual presentation to maximize sales and margin performance of the store. This position is located in Medford, Oregon.

Essential Functions:

  • Optimize product offering and merchandise presentation to drive sales. 
  • Lead a store team of six managers and buyers, along with over 25 store associates, in alignment with the direction of the Regional Sales Director and company guidelines, to maximize sales while providing outstanding customer service.
  • Lead local marketing and advertising efforts to drive foot traffic through the store.
  • Coordinate and execute in-store promotional events.
  • Generate traffic and increase the frequency of customer visits.
  • Analyze business trends and take appropriate action to meet goals.
  • Select top talent through recruiting processes and participate in performance coaching and mentoring to promote a selling culture.
  • Manage receiving flow and oversee produce and wine buying.
  • Ensure that established policies, practices, and procedures including quality, sanitary, and safety guidelines are adhered to. This includes compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Other projects, tasks, and duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • 5 years of store or multi-store management responsibility preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of merchandising and retail operations.
  • Excellent visual merchandising and customer service skills.
  • Microsoft Word and Excel skills at an intermediate level.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds consistently.
  • Possibility of travel.
