Sr. Financial Analyst, Direct Marketing

Position Summary:

The Sr. Financial Analyst, Direct Marketing is a key member of the Harry & David Financial Planning Team. This position must handle multiple assignments in a rapidly changing, fast paced environment with frequent direct interaction with senior management, including the Senior Vice President of Financial Planning and the business unit General Managers. The primary focuses of the position will contribute to the development and maintenance of intermediate and long range financial budgets and forecasts, and provide Direct Marketing with financial analysis to improve financial results and identify new business opportunities. This position is located in Medford, Oregon.

Essential Functions:

• Work with the Direct Marketing business units to establish long and short term financial projections to support company goals.
• Work with the Accounting Department to ensure accuracy of financial statements for external reporting purposes.
• Act as a liaison between Direct Marketing and Operations to ensure financial strategies are aligned and capital expenditures support volume growth.
• Provide pro forma analysis to assist Direct Marketing in improving current business activities and identifying new opportunities.
• Assist the Director, Direct Marketing Finance with other tasks and special projects as assigned.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting; MBA preferred. Strong work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Two to four years experience with forecasting and financial modeling.
  High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with emphasis on accuracy and team participation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) for effective interaction with all levels of company management and personnel, and outside parties.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting deadlines with accurate and detailed results.
