IT Manager, HR and Finance Systems (PeopleSoft)
Position Summary:
The IT Manager, HR and Finance Systems (PeopleSoft) is responsible for leading a team of Programmer Analysts in support of the company’s Human Resource (HR) and Financial systems. These HR and Finance application systems provide essential tools for such critical business functions as Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, General Accounting, Accounts Payable, Credit, and Taxation. In addition to the management responsibilities, this manager will spend a good percentage of their time performing programming-related tasks requiring skills in design, coding, testing and documentation using the PeopleSoft Tools. The ideal candidate will be an experienced PeopleSoft developer who also enjoys playing a leadership role. This position is located in Medford, Oregon.
Essential Functions:
- Plan human resources and expenditures for both capital and non-capital projects.
- Perform requirements analysis and system design. Develop specifications, code, documentation, and project reports in support of assigned applications.
- Manage the client relationship with focus on comprehensive, timely and accurate communication.
- Resolve system application problems.
- Provide leadership and project management expertise for assigned projects.
Position Requirements:
- Six years or more of experience in the Information Technology profession.
- Two or more years of team or project leadership experience in an Information Technology environment, demonstrating strong leadership, team building, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency with PeopleTools Version 8.2 or higher is required.
- Experience with PeopleSoft HR Version 8.3 or higher is highly desirable. Experience with PeopleSoft Financial applications is preferred.
- Two-year college degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, related fields, and/or equivalent experience.
- Successful work performance demonstrating an ability to communicate effectively, work well with others, use productive work methods, exercise sound judgment and display initiative and innovation on the job.
